Matt Sammons

I was born March 31, 1982. I grew up in McGehee, Arkansas where I helped my dad out on the farm every chance I got, and also played a lot of sports. My mom started me on piano lessons when I was in 3rd grade, but I was introduced to music as a little kid. I took piano lessons into high school and then got to busy playing football and baseball to continue taking lessons. We moved from McGehee to Searcy, Arkansas when I was 13 years old, and my family still lives there.

I continued playing piano and singing in High School and College before moving to Nashville, TN. I lived in Nashville for a little over a year, and while I was there got asked to go on tour and sing with a christian group, called Acappella. I toured with them for a year before moving back to Searcy. One night a couple of buddies wanted me to go to Willy D’s, and paid for me to get up and play a song. Two days later I was given a happy hour shift, and I’ve been at Willly D’s ever since. My wife and I recentely moved to Little Rock and like it a lot so far! I love my job, and enjoy helping people have a good time while there hanging out with us. Come on out and see us Tuesday-Saturday.
